飛行機は時を経て様々な進化・発展を遂げてきました。館長大柳繁造が寄贈した約800機の航空機模型を年代別、国別に展示して、飛行機の歴史を追っています。また、模型飛行機の貴重な箱絵も展示しています。さらに、展示されている模型や箱絵に関する情報を、展示ケースの横に設置されたモニタで検索することができます。

The airplane has undergone lots of changes and developments over the years since it was first invented. Here you’ll find about 800 airplane models presented to the museum by Mr. Oyanagi Shigezo. The models are arranged by year and country of their production, and you can trace the history of airplane flight by viewing them all! The boxes that contained the models are also worth viewing. You can search for information on the models and the box art with the monitor next to the case.
